This kit requires measurements from your original axles. See the included form on this listing or contact us directly for a copy of this. This form needs to be filled out as soon as possible or prior to ordering with us. Kits will be made based on your personal measurements. Measuring with a micrometer is recommended. If you are not sure on how to measure, contact us directly.
A new emergency brake cable will be required when installing this rear disc brake system. This is not included in the standard kit but can be added using the options above if desired. THIS CABLE WOULD BE A CUSTOM ORDER ITEM BASED ON THE MEASUREMENTS YOU PROVIDE. You will need the overall length and conduit length of the cable going to BOTH REAR WHEELS. This is a total of 2 cables or one long cable depending on your application. It is recommended that you measure the emergency brake cable AFTER installation of the disc brake kit to get the most accurate measurement.
This kit is made to be used on vehicles with 15-Inch wheels or larger. The rotors included in this kit are 12-Inch and require a minimum of 15-Inch wheels. If using a wire wheel or after market rim, spacer plates may be needed - please select from the options above if required. Please specify the bolt pattern on your kit in order to receive the proper rotors needed for your vehicle. If the size you need is not listed, please inquire before ordering. Both standard rotors and drilled and slotted rotors are also available. Drilled and slotted rotors allow for better cooling and help prevent dust build up that can happen with standard rotors.
It is recommended that the booster and master cylinder are upgraded when changing to a disc brake system. Please see our combo kits that include a booster and master cylinder if you do not already have one. If you already have a new booster and master cylinder unit, select above if you would like to add a proportioning valve to the kit. This proportioning valve works for most models. For proportioning valve fitting sizes, contact us directly.
The use of this kit requires a dual line brake system. Depending on your model, this may require changing your original tubing. If you would like standard 3/16-Inch tubing included, please select the option above. This will include 25 Feet of 3/16-Inch brake line as well as an assorted fitting kit to help with the conversion and installation.

Many of these kits will bolt on directly to the original parts but some may need some minor modifications. If you have any questions we do offer tech support.
